The Bride of Frankenstein

One surprising twist for me, in the play, was when the monster took Justine and demanded to have her as his monster bride. The creature wanted to have someone to love and to show love toward him... Why do you think that the monster decided to have Dr. Frankenstein remake Justine's body?

  1. I think that the monster wanted Justine is that is one more thing to make Victor Frankenstein suffer. Great blog, Hannah!

  3. I agree with Laura and Zachary, that it will be a constant reminder to Victor that the monster killed his loved ones. Great Blog!

  4. Maybe it is because he wanted it to hurt him for revenge .

  5. I think that the monster wanted Justine so that when he had her around he would always have something to remind him of Victor. And if Victor wouldve gone through with letting the monster have his wife then maybe he wouldve left him alone and just been happy with what he had.
But to Victor I think the monster chose her to be a constant reminder that he is always watching and can always do something at any moment to change Victor's life. Great question Hannah.

  6. I think he wanted justine because she had recently died and wouldn't look as grotesque as the monster because he thought humans were beautiful.
