Right vs. Wrong
While I sympathize with the monster to an extent, at the same time I do not care for his character when it comes to the subject of companionship. Did you notice how that he went to the extreme of killing just in order to be loved and have a mate. On one hand, I agree that love is very important and is most definitely worth "fighting for!!" But... On the other hand, the monster went about it the wrong way! Right? Ladies, and gentleman, have you ever noticed that guys, or girls, when trying to attract a mate go about things the wrong way sometimes... Just like the monster! Why is that? Is there a right (or wrong) way to express your feelings towards someone?

Good question. I think there really is only one right way to go about expressing your feelings for someone: be honest! I wish Victor was more forthright with Elizabeth. She could have really saved him.
ReplyDeleteBe honest with people! And I agree with Mr. Davis, if Victor had been honest, he could've saved Elizabeth. Great Thought!
ReplyDeleteI believe that one needs love in his/her life, but to kill for love? That's crazy. I think that if you love someone and wish to express that love, you need to go about it in a gentle way. You first need to be kind to them. Do small things for them, like compliment them or listen to them when they have had a bad day. Small actions can make the biggest difference in someone's life.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. Victor could of saved Elizabeths life if he would of been honest with her. It seemed like throughout the novel Victor hid many things from her.
