Your Opinion...
As I am reading through Frankenstein, I am curious as to see what you think of the book so far? I know that I was a little bored at the beginning of the book. But now, the novel is starting to pick up a lot... Do you have a favorite character that you can personally relate to? A favorite quote perhaps?

Surprisingly, I am a big fan of the Creature! I think that he is just misunderstood and lonely. He is seeking companionship only to be turned away due to his appearance.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say I relate to Victor because I always feel like I mess up. As for a quote, that is a good question I will have to look into.
ReplyDeleteI am excited about the book, its interesting so far. I wonder how they ended up in the north pole though!
ReplyDeleteThe book is good. Difficut, but good. I came across a quote that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!!! Robert Walton says, "...for nothing contributes so much to tranquillize the mind as a steady purpose- a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye." (p. 2). This is so true. If you have a true goal or aspiration that you work hard to acheive, then you feel so calm and peaceful while you are working to acheive the goal. For example, when I used to horseback ride, I was going to do a show that would be my fist jumping show. For weeks, I worked as hard as I could with the horse I was showing. I wanted to get the timing perfect, and I wanted to stand up at exactly the right time, with my heels pushing deep down in the stirrups. I was so focused and determined. Even so, I found myself totally at peace while I was practicing. It was so much fun, and I ended up getting 2nd place!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!
